My experience with Mint is outstanding! The Uptown practice is very professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The location is very convenient and I appreciate being able to get in and out quickly. It makes getting cleanings done simple and efficient. Additionally, Dr. Spence is wonderful. Going to the dentist can be intimidating, but she is very good at making me feel comfortable and I trust her to provide me with quality care and a treatment plan that is effective. I highly recommend the Mint Uptown practice if you are looking for a new dentist! More

I had my very first appt at Mint Denistry yesterday first thing in the morning, and my first experience there was absolutely wonderful. I know most people hate the dentist and are even scared of going to the dentist, but me personally I’ve never really cared one way or the other… however, if I WERE one of those people that hated coming to the dentist or were afraid to come, then I can definitely say that Mint Denistry at UPTOWN in Dallas would absolutely be where I would want to go. The entire staff - everyone from the receptionists, to the dental assistants, to the doctors themselves - they were all so lovely and kindhearted and welcoming, any fears you might have would simply melt away the moment you encounter all of these wonderful lovely ladies. Each of them treated me with grace and respect, and made me feel welcome, while also making me feel comfortable and at ease the entire time. No matter who I spoke with, they all were able to answer every single one of my questions and keep me informed. The entire process ran smoothly and I was actually happy to be there. I would recommend MINT at UPTOWN to anybody and everybody. I will be going back in a week for a whitening and in another 6 months for another cleaning. I urge everyone else to do the same - these ladies will surely take care of you and all of your needs. More

Deep cleaning today plus repair of old filling. Dr Kim and Lana are awesome. Thorough and gentle, very kind. Ive now been there several times in the past 2 years for cleanings. My gums are now healthy and cleanings are easy. Lana gave me some suggestions and following them has my teeth and gums in great shape. Dr Kim checks on my teeth at the end of each cleaning. If I have any concerns she checks up on them. I love this team! More

The Uptown location is my favorite as everyone there is super nice and friendly… Staff is super helpful and will answer ALL questions if you have any…. I hated going to the dentist as a kid as my hometown’s selection wasn’t to big and definitely didn’t care much about being as pain free as possible for routine cleanings and minor procedures. Decided to give Mint a chance when I first moved to Dallas from college(TXST…Eat Em Up) and have been going back every since. The staff will go over everything that they’re about to do and genuinely care about your well being as well as taking care of you. On Wednesday, I got a thorough deep cleaning done and Sonny/Sunny(sorry for the typo😬) did a fantastic job with zero pain and walked me through the whole process making sure I was good and completely comfortable. The entire staff was polite, professional, and prompt . The Hygienist did a thorough job of cleaning my teeth—pain free. The facility was clean and high tech—made appointment online, completed forms online and received reminders via text and email. A pleasure!! More

It was my first time here. I was expecting bare bones but the practice is beautiful. Clean and designed well. But the best part is the staff. From the receptionist being welcoming to the amazing dentist. I saw Dr. Joshi. Highly recommend requesting her or going to whichever location she is at. She went above and beyond. I came in with tooth pain. I was 100% sure I would need a root canal, but Dr. Joshi instead did a full exam and recommended a deep cleaning with a special toothpaste trial first. She is very conservative and doesn’t recommend unnecessary intervention. I trust her judgment. I will definitely be following her for future care! More

Dr. Spence at Mint Denistry is the best Denist in uptown in the Dallas Metro plex area. She is Professional and brilliant..the office staff kindness overwhelms you.. they make you feel so very comfortable and at home. After my teeth cleanings and my crown and my partial-plate it fit perfectly,. It doesn't hurt my mouth. It fits perfectly. and they give you great gifts perks like sun glasses, toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, clear traveling bags,s nacks.I Love going there..can't wait to go back in six months for my cleaning. I have had a deep cleaning and several maintenance cleanings done here. Both of the hygienists (Pam and Lana) are outstanding --- they are gentle with the dental instruments and provide a thorough cleansing! Also, Dr. Kim does very good fillings and crowns. More

I have so far had examination, cleaning, deep cleaning, and x-rays at Mint Dental. Hygienist Julia does the most thorough and excellent job, she moves with speed and accuracy, an experienced craftsman and artist. So far, they are terrific. I will post again after I get a new crown. More

I’ve been to many dentists in the area.. this is by far the best experience I’ve had.. EVERRR! They remind you of your appointment via email or text, they send you the annoying paperwork you have to fill out as a new patient via email or text so you can do it in the comfort of your own space.. The parking is abundant and conveniently located in front! Their office is clean and very profesh.. The receptionist welcomed me with a smile and my folder at the ready. I went in at 10:35 for an appointment at 10:45 and was taken in immediately! didn’t have to wait! AMAZING! I went for cleaning and exam and the hygienist (Pamela) was professional, courteous and an expert with the handling of her tools! She made sure I was comfy and even put on a Netflix show for me as I laid back. I think I finally found my steady Dentist. Oh and no pain or discomfort at any point! 🤗🤗🤗 Highly recommend this place. The entire Uptown team is superb 👌🏾 👏🏽 🙌🏽. Amazing customer service from the the time you walk in the door. The minty (no pun intended) /eucalyptus / spa smell as you walk in the door is so tranquilizing. Emily is so personable and makes you feel clam as she is cleaning your teeth. For years I’ve avoided the dentist because I have bad anxiety & every dentist before Dr Spence was very rude and judgmental. She doesn’t make me feel bad or judge me and she is so nice & answered all of my questions so I understood everything. If you have dentist anxiety, go to Dr Spence!!!! I can’t stress it enough. Also obsessed with the free whitening trays and gel. It makes me want to just come in for a cleaning all the time just to get more gel lol. It actually has whitened my teeth a lot & combining that with everything Dr Spence has done for me, I finally feel more confident in my smile. They know I’m not rich lol so they never pressure me for things I don’t need just to get money from me, if I don’t really need it they tell me & i appreciate that. Thank you Dr Spence!!!! More

I can't say I don't like going to the dentist anymore because Dr. Kim and her team are extraordinary. Everyone is incredibly friendly and do a great job to make every visit a good experience. I haven't had any major dental issues beyond a couple fillings to take care of here in the past 1 1/2 years I've been coming but I would trust Dr. Kim to do an excellent job if I needed more. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Kim and her practice. I have been traveling a lot and as a result haven’t seen a dentist in quite some time. So I knew we had work to do (a couple of old fillings needed replacing). My first visit was with the hygienist and she gave me the best cleaning EVER. My second visit was with Dr Kim, who replaced 3 of my fillings and reattached one of the veneers that had broken off, and did so with such professionalism, compassion and a great bedside manner, that I’m beyond impressed. I was at a practice for a number of years that I felt lacked professionalism, and was looking for a change. I ended up finding Mint Dental on google, saw all the great reviews, and decided to give it a try. It ended up being the best dental experience I could have asked for. Everyone from the front desk to the dentist themselves was beyond professional & showed a genuine interest in my results. They called my insurance carrier beforehand and found out what I was covered for and thoroughly answered any questions I had. Beyond exceptional service. My husband and I have been going to Mint Dental since we moved to Edgewater 4 years ago. They are just a well run business! Their office is always clean and inviting. It's in an ideal location in the heart of Edgewater. Their scheduling system is accurate and on point (text messages for initial appt setup, a couple days before your apt as a reminder, the day before as well as an hour before your appt.) No excuse to miss your appointments ever. Also they are really great with time mgmt. I never have to wait more than 1 to 2 minutes. If a previous patient comes late causing a knock on impact to later schedules, they would call you to tell you to come a bit later so you're not waiting there until they are ready. As far as the treatment itself, the cleaning is always very thorough. They take the time to explain to you the condition of your teeth, if you need to do better and how to ensure proper care. I've gotten cavities filled and the Dr is always really gentle and explains the process. Their equipment is all the latest technology as I'm sure they keep with the times. And they definitely work with you and the insurance company to ensure issues get resolved rather than having you figure out of yourself. I cannot recommend mint dental enough! More

I had my first visit yesterday and all I can is WOW. From the moment I walked in the door the front desk receptionist gave me the warmest greeting as if I had been going there for years! She was extremely personable. I have a lot of gum issues and the hygienist I had was great , she took her time in between my cleaning to stop and explain things and show me how I should change my brushing habits. She was extremely gentle and went above and beyond. Dr. Kim was also amazing, she walked me thru all my x-rays and showed as well as explained her treatment plan, I didn’t feel rushed at all. They answered all my questions and gave me the referrals needed so I can get back to my gleaming smile 😁 I definitely recommend if you don’t have a dentist or just want a new one! Ok, so I posted a horrible review yesterday about my scheduling experience with Mint and instead of editing it I wanted to delete it and begin brand new because that's how great the Uptown Dallas office was and turned me into a believer again today. After my one star review, I received a call almost instantly this morning from Jenna the office manager, sincerely apologizing for the whole thing. She heard me out, listened to my frustrations and accepted my constructive criticism. She was truly eager to make me happy again and her positive intentions were 100% genuine. She confirmed all my insurance questions I had originally been inquiring about and I went in today for my cleaning and everyone in the office treated me amazingly well. Dr. Spence is a total sweet heart, very knowledgable and quick, but precise with her treatment plant. My hygienist went on to give me the best cleaning I've had in years and when leaving, my normal goody bag was full of all sorts of extras like the new Mint full sized charcoal tooth paste, new whitening trays and extra whitening gel. WOW Mint, just WOW in the best way possible. I even learned some things from your patient response today that I will happily incorporate in the doctor's office that I work for. Thank you Jenna and the entire Uptown office today, I'll see y'all in June. More

Always a great experience! I was in and out for my annual cleaning in under an hour. Everyone (from check-in, to Doctor, to hygienist) was super friendly and welcoming. It sounds silly, but the goody bag is always fun to take home, now more so since they let you pick a toothpaste flavor. The very best thing about this place, though, is that I never feel like they're trying to 'upsell' me with dental procedures or dramatize issues where there are none. Phenomenal experience at MINT UPTOWN! These guys are awesome in every way. I was met with a HUGE smile and warm greetings the moment I walked in by Brittney and Kylar. They were extremely helpful and assisted with all questions I had. My hygienist Sonny is literally the greatest. Dr. Kim is excellent. Very gentle but thoroughly meticulous and pays great attention to detail. She was so gentle that I almost fell asleep a few times during my fillings! She is not overbearing with treatment suggestions and honors her appointment times. You can tell she values patient comfort as she offers entertainment (netflix) while you wait and provides glasses that filters harsh overhead lighting. More

I loved this dentresity. I have always had a apprehension towards dentists and they definently made going to the dentists less awful. The staff was very attentive, kind, empathetic, and homely. I had a wisdom tooth pulled and it wasn't nearly as awful as I thought it would be. The reason I give them four stars is because the doctor wrote the pain med script wrong. By the time the pharmacy got the right script I was in a heckabamboozled amoumt of pain. Like so much pain I was practically begging the pharmacist to hurry. More
